Happy Friday 3/25!

What a week it’s been! Hopefully you got a chance to read my goal status post to see what I’ve been up to this week. I also attended the first Strut Clothing Swap, which was very fruitful! It was totally insane, though, I definitely got elbowed a couple of times. Never get in the way between a woman and her fashion!!

The clothes were neatly displayed for the first thirty seconds.

I had a love affair with this aqua clutch.

• If you haven’t been reading Lacy’s birth story over at the Electric Elmo Newsfeed, you’re missing out! Even if you don’t have kids, especially if you’re on the fence about kids, you’ll enjoy it.

• Marie from Lemondrop Vintage has started Swap Stop, an online swapping experience! And she featured me and Hannah as her first swappers :) Check it out!

• There was a helpful guest post over at Eat the Damn Cake about “Surviving a Case of the Uglies” — days when you just don’t feel your best.

• So, Haute Muslimah and I were talking about “Wal-Mart Chic” the other day, and I thought I’d post this blog by the Wal-Mart Blogger, what do you guys think?

• And I loved this post on Rabbit Write about “Why You Shouldn’t Marry for Love,” something that I’ve believed and re-affirmed to myself over the years through reading about the history of marriage, and how marriage was originally a partnership based on what was brought to the table, not emotion. If you’re interested in the topic, check out Marriage, a History: How Love Conquered Marriage by Stephie Coontz (affiliate link) — I’d say it’s a must-read for anyone who’s taken the plunge or thinking about it!
