FBFF – What’s in my Purse?

 

Happy Friday!

This is an “off” week for FBFF, but some other members thought it would be fun to do a “what’s in my purse” post. I saw it not only as a good idea for a post today, but as a great excuse to clean out my purse! (Just in time, too. A piece of gum had de-wrappered itself and was melting onto all of my belongings. Very tragic.)

I’m typically a clean person. I can’t fall asleep if there are dishes in the sink, and I try to keep my car free of clutter. But when it comes to my purse… let’s just say I live out of my purse. I have everything that I need residing in my purse, which is why I carry such a whopper!

 

1.) Let Them Eat Cake brown vegan “leather” purse (similar: 1, 2, 3)

2.) Mustard wallet/clutch from Target (similar)

3.) Peanut butter and cheese crackers (I get hungry a lot!)

4.) Sensual Amber body spray from Bath and Body Works (There’s nothing worse than out-stinking everyone.)

5.) Dove travel anti-perspirant (Again, out-stinking = bad.)

7.) Hello Wife business cards :)

8.) Orbitz gum

9.) Earbuds (Have you ever done grocery shopping while listening to Pandora? It totally changes the experience.)

10.) Elastic hair ties

12.) Stila Cherry Crush Lip Stain (This is my all-time favorite lip stain — it’s so pretty and natural-looking!)

13.) Small notebook for jotting down all sorts of things

14.) Leatherman (My dad insists on my keeping a multi-purpose tool in my purse. It’s come in handy on more than one occasion, like the time one of my office mates broke his key in the lock to our building early one morning, before anyone else would be there. I pulled out the leatherman and got the key bit out in a jif. I like to think I impressed him.)

15.) Wanted lip gloss (The only lip gloss I’ve ever used for more than the 20 minutes after purchase.)

16.) L’Oreal Infallible lip color in Always Apricot (This is my first flattering red. I’ve been wearing it all summer. It really stays on all day!)

17.) Sephora Maniac Mat lip color in natural pink (I like this for dinners — it doesn’t transfer to glass ware.)

18.) Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara in blackest black (Just in case.)

19.) Nail file

20.) Agenda (Try as I might sync my life up on the iPhone, I just can’t get beyond good ‘ol pen-and-paper.)
